Mini Review
Flicky is a simple but very likable retro game. You control Flicky, a small blue bird with the ability to run and hop around various levels. The aim is to rescue the young chicks. Simply run over them and they will form a chain of followers behind you. You must then deliver them to the safe house. This can be done one at a time although there is a combo bonus for delivering more than one chick at a time.
There will be numerous enemies out to get you and the chicks so you must move fast and plan ahead to get the best of them. This game is great for younger gamers, the concepts is simple and practice will make perfect. For older gamers Flicky may have limited appeal due to the lack of variety in game play. Overall though this is not a bad game. If you have a spare five minutes and have never played the game it may be worth the distraction.
